Please make sure to download the latest version of the application, it allows you to use it over WiFi and 3G networks.
Blackboard Mobile Learn is an application that gives students and instructors access to their Blackboard courses, content and organizations on a variety of devices including the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad as well as Android, BlackBerry and Palm smartphones. Students and instructors using Blackboard Learn can access documents in multiple formats, post announcements, create discussion threads and posts, upload media as attachments to discussion boards and create content items within the course map.
Some applications available in Blackboard may not work on Blackboard Mobile Learn. In addition, some features (Flash, Java-based video, and Quicktime) may not work properly on all devices. The following features may not work properly when accessed from the Mobile Learn app and should only be used when accessing Blackboard from a non-mobile browser:
- Building tests, surveys and pools
- Submitting tests and surveys
- Submitting assignments
- Grading assignments
- Adjusting Grade Center settings
- Participating in Live Blackboard Collaborate sessions
- Viewing any Flash-based instructional content or movies
On your iPad, launch the App Store application.
Click on the search tab, and perform a search for the name ‘Blackboard Mobile Learn.’
Click the ‘Free’ button and when it changes to ‘Install App’ click it again.
Sign in to your iTunes account to complete the download. The App will install.
Launch the Blackboard Mobile Learn application.
