On July 23, 2008, the General Assembly of International Association for Media & Communication Research (IAMCR) has confirmed the election of DR. IBRAHIM SALEH, Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, as the Chair of Journalism Research & Education Section and as member in the International Council running IAMCR.  Saleh is the first and only non-Anglo-American member to have been elected in this position.

LAST CHANCE FOR FACULTY OPINIONS
Faculty who have not completed the 15-minute AUC (“Another University Campus”) questionnaire are kindly requested to do so by Thursday, July 31, 2008.  This is a critical way for us to document and study our reactions and experiences, and how the move affects aspects such as our social and community relationships and happiness.  This survey has been developed by faculty at the Sociology-Anthropology-Psychology-Egyptology with an interdisciplinary team of students, staff, and alumni.  Without a representative sample from the faculty the results may not be valid, so everyone’s contribution is extremely important.  This research is completely independent and is not associated with AUC On the Move, IPART, or any other AUC department or administrative unit.  Please visit http://forms.aucegypt.edu/auccampus
