Long gone are the days when Egyptians only had the choice between watching the state-sponsored El Beit Beitak or Mona El Shazly's Al Ashera Masa'an for their evening talk show fix.

Today, the talk show business is a fiercely competitive field where over a dozen shows air on various state-owned and private channels every night discussing, analyzing and commenting on national and regional news.

The Caravan conducted a campus-wide survey gauging which talk shows were the most popular among AUC students.
