Salima Ikram, Professor of Egyptology in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, and Egyptology (SAPE), has just published “Creatures of the Gods: Animal Mummies from Ancient Egypt,” in AnthroNotes  31.1: 1-5. This is a publication of the Smithsonian Institution, where Salima was a guest curator for the exhibition on Mummies and the Afterlife.
