Fayza Haikal

Today, May 13, was a special honor for Fayza Haikal, Professor of Egyptology in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, and Egyptology (SAPE). Fayza was presented with the badge of Cairo University’s Faculty of Archeology at the university’s commencement ceremony. During the ceremony, a number of personalities who rendered specific services to the faculty were honored. The homage was presented to Fayza in her capacity s first head of the Syndicate of Archeologists, in recognition of the work she did to bring this long-awaited syndicate to life. The dossier of the syndicate is now in parliament, awaiting official accreditation.
